Day 3 · Structure

  1. Skim a grammar reference from the resource list — one page only
  2. First 500: 15 new words
  3. Write 5 sentences using today’s words

Day 4 · Roots / meaning

  1. Root Explorer: 2 families (?lang=mandarin)
  2. Cloze practice on roots (?lang=mandarin&mode=roots)
  3. False-friend quiz (one round) if you speak English as a base
  4. 15-minute listen

Day 5 · Output

  1. Speak or write a 60-second summary of anything you heard this week
  2. Drill pronunciation of 10 hard words
  3. First 500 recall round
  4. Print a worksheet for offline review

Day 6 · Input denser

  1. Listening picker — use the alternate if the main pick is too easy/hard
  2. Browse the full resource list and star 2 keepers: /mandarin/resources/
  3. Prefer news / interviews over courses today
  4. Root of the day (?lang=mandarin)

Day 7 · Reset

  1. Retake /start/ if your level feel wrong; otherwise keep this plan another week
  2. Revisit one weak tool from the week for 20 minutes
  3. Plan next week’s listen stars from the resource list
  4. Optional: print a fresh worksheet and leave it on your desk
