Affiliate disclosure
Plain language about commissions, inclusion, and how we try to keep the directory honest.
Some outbound links on Study New Languages are affiliate links. That means if you click through and purchase, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.
Commission never decides inclusion or ranking. Resources appear because they meet our methodology (age-safe, classroom-friendly when claimed, useful for learners). Paid tools are listed only where they genuinely fit a language — never as the only path.
We also sell our own printable Root Mega-Deck PDFs on the shop. Those are Study New Languages products, not third-party affiliate offers.
Community-governed languages
For Indigenous and other community-governed languages, we lead with official tribal or community programs whenever they exist, and we subordinate commercial affiliate listings.
